    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Yellow Ware Beater Jar. It was part of the "Dandy Line" of the Brush McCoy Company in Zanesville, Ohio.


    This set is pictured in Lisa McAllister and John Michel, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book I, on p. 83.  The beater jar is uncommon and was not available for the picture.


    Dating to the early 20th century, this beauty features a 12 Panel Rim, Three White Slip Bands around the Middle, and Rich Pumpkin-Colored Glaze.  Measures 5 1/4" tall. 


    Excellent Condition.  Light and minor staining inside at the bottom.  Overall fine glaze crazing of age.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
