    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Wm. E. Warner, West Troy."


    This is the mark of William E. Warner who ran a pottery in West Troy, N.Y., using this impression from 1836 to 1839 (private research).


    This beauty features a Bold Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, "2" Capacity Number, and the star of the show- an Eagle Decending Down Ready to Fire a Bow and Arrow!  Don't mess with him!   Stands 12 1/4" tall. 


    Excellent Condition.  As made.  No damage.  Slight tilt to the spout, some overglaze on top and handle, and fine bubbling in the cobalt-- all in the making.
