    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this beautiful 2 Gallon Butter Crock made by "Williams & Reppert, Greensboro, PA."


    This is the work of William Williams and Thomas Reppert who worked together from 1880-1884 and again after 1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp 157-58).


    This beauty features a Finely Tooled Rim for Ease of Tying Down a Cover, a Brushed Cobalt Stripe Top and Bottom, the Company Advertising Framing A Floral Sprig, a Freehand Capacity Number Flanked by Crow's Feet, and Additional Cobalt Accent at the Handle Terminals.  The stencil is complete and crisp, and the cobalt is dark just like we like it!  Measures 8" tall and 9 3/4" wide across the top.  


    Excellent Condition. Some light staining and surface wear from use. That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
