    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "WM. E. Warner, West Troy."


    This is the mark of William E. Warner who ran a pottery in West Troy, N.Y. in the 1840's and 1850's (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 67-68).


    This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Brushed Cobalt Three Leaf Clover.  Comes with an old form-fitting wooden stopper.  Stands 12 1/4" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  Four 1/4" flakes on the spout.  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
