Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Crock made and stamped by "A. O. Whittemore, Havana, N.Y."


This is the work of A. O. Whittemore who potted in Havana from 1862-1893 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 72).


This beauty features the pottery stamp and a Bright Cobalt Flower with 8 Leaves and a Blossom with 10 petals.  The cobalt really shines on this one!   Measures 8 3/4" tall and 9 3/4" wide across the top.  


Exceptional Condition.   As made.  No damage of any kind.  A 1" surface drying line inside at the rim in the making.
