Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "Whites Binghamton."

 

This is the mark of William Roberts, son-in-law of Noah White of Whites Utica Pottery. He founded a branch of the family business in Binghamton in 1848 and ran it until 1888 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 71)

 

This beauty features a Cream Pot Form, Company Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Huge, Bright Cobalt Tree Decoration. Measures 8 1/2" tall and wide across the top.

 

Excellent Condition. A chip inside the rim (3/8"), two outside the rim (3/16", 1/4") and one on the underside near the edge (1/2').   That's it!  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A surface spider in the tree in the making and filled with cobalt.
