    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Lidded Preerve Jar made and stamped by the "West Troy, N.Y. Pottery." 


    This is the mark used by William Warner of West Troy (now Watervliet) from 1843 to 1871 (private research)


    Circa 1880, this beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Stylized Cornucopia Decoration Executed with a Slip Cup.   Stands 11 1/2" tall   


    Good Condition.  The back portion of the right handle is chipped away.  No rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  The original lid has chips around the outer edge.
