    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this 1 Gallon Jug made and stamped by the "West Troy Pottery." 


    This is the mark used by William Warner of West Troy, New York (now Watervliet) from 1843 to 1871 (private research)


    Circa 1880, this beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Bird on a Branch Decoration.  Stands 11 3/4" tall   


    Good Condition.  Four small chips on the spout (1/8" to 1/4"), a 2" chip on the underside at the edge, some staining from use.  The lower 2" of the handle has come out as one piece and been securely reattached (closeup).  No body hairlines or cracks.
