This piece is pictured in Lisa McAllister and John Michel, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book I , on p. 75.
Excellent Condition. The base is as made. No damage of any kind. The lid has a 1/4" flake on the seating ring on the underside. Two surface grooves on top in the making (1/2", 3/4'). Both pieces have the fine glaze crazing of age.
