Coming to you from Doc's Crocks are these Two Yellow Ware Corn Molds Sold for One Money.
Dating to the late 19th century, the smaller mold features ribs down the inside to three levels which frame the center cob of corn. Rich coloration. Measures 7 3/4" long, 6 1/2" wide, and 3 1/4" tall.
Excellent Condition. A 1/4" surface line on the outside of the rim, two adjacent flakes on the underside of the footer (3/16", 1/4"). No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
The larger mold also features ribs down the inside to a large cob of corn with includes an outline of the husk. Measures 9 3/8" long, 6" wide, and 4 3/8" tall.
Good Condition. A faint 2" line from the rim insidee, a 3/4" chip on the top of the rim, ten small chips around the outside of the rim (3/16" or less), and six chips around the base (5/8" or less). No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
