• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Stoneware Jar made by "T. F. Reppert, Greensboro, Pa." 


    Thomas Reppert made pottery in Greensboro from 1884-1890 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 157-159).


    This beauty features the Company Advertising Surrounding a Sheaf of Wheat with Top and Bottom Floral Accents.  The stencil is complete and crisp, and all the cobalt is strong and in sharp contarst to the warm gray clay.  Stands 10" tall. 


    Excellent Condition.  A half-dozen 1/8" nibbles on the very bottom fold of the tooled rim.  That's it!  No top rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
