Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful and uncommon 1/2 Gallon Jug.
It was made by A. P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, W.V. Donaghho ran his pottery in Parkersburg from 1874-1900.
This beauty features one of the Donaghho monikers, "Superior" in a Banner Across the Front. The stencil is complete and strong. Measures 9 1/4" tall.
As you know, this is not a commonly found piece of Donaghho pottery.
Excellent Condition. Two chips on the right side of the spout (1/4", 3/8"), a chip on the bottom of the handle (3/8"), a shallow chip on the bottom of the left side (3/4"), and a wear spot on the left side of the handle (3/8") and right shoulder. No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. Typical manufacturing imperfections.
