Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Stoneware Jar attributed to Henry Remmey, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA.

Henry Remmey, Jr. ran the family pottery in Philadelphia from the 1820's to the 1850's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp. 8-10).
