    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1/2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "Solomon Bell."

    Solomon Bell was one of the most famous of the Bell Family Potters, working as a potter in Strasburg, Virginia from the early 1850's until his death in 1882.


    This beauty features a Small 1/2 Gallon Size with the Pottery Stamp on the Shoulder.   Stands  9 1/2" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  Two chips inside the spout (1/4", 3/8").  That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A recessed kiln touch on each side in the making.
