    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Jar made and stamped by "Solomon Bell, Strasburg, VA."

    Solomon Bell was one of the most famous of the Bell Family Potters, working as a potter in Strasburg from the early 1850's until his death in 1882.


    This beauty features a Jar Form with Flared Rim, and a Clear Pottery Stamp.   Stands 8 1/4" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  A single 1/8" nibble on the rim.  That's it!  No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
