Solomon Bell was one of the most famous of the Bell Family Potters, working as a potter in Strasburg from the early 1850's until his death in 1882.
This beauty features a Clear Pottery Stamp and Three Units of Comma Vining and a Tulip Dangling from the Rim. Stands 12" tall.
Excellent Condition. Eight 1/4" or less chips on the rim, four adjacent chips at the base (1/8" to 1/2"), and some staining from use (mainly at the bottom). No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
