    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 1/2 Gallon Jar made and stamped by "Solomon Bell, Strasturg, VA."

    Solomon Bell was one of the most famous of the Bell Family Potters, working as a potter in Strasburg from the early 1850's until his death in 1882.


    This beauty features a Clear Pottery Stamp and Four Units of Comma Vining Dangling from the Rim.   Stands 9 3/4" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  Six small chips outside the rim (1/8" to 3/8"), a narrow 7/8" chip at the base, and some light staining from use.  No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
