    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Cream Pot made and stamped by "Sipe & Son, Williamsport, PA."

     

    This is the mark of William Sipe and his sons who ran the company with this stamp from 1879-1893 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 62-63).

     

    This beauty features the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Double Brushed Cobalt Tulip.  The two blossoms rest on a stem with four leaves, and have four petals each.  Measures 8 1/2" tall and 8" wide across the top.

     

    Very Good Condition.  A 1/4" chip inside the rim, a 1/2" chip and a half-dozen 1/8" nibbles outside the rim, and some small spots of very light staining.  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
