• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Preserve Jar made and stamped by "Satterlee & Mory, Fort Edward, N.Y."

This is the stamp of George Satterlee and Michael Mory who ran this pottery together from 1859-1885 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).

This beauty sports the pottery stamp with cobalt wash and a Large Cobalt Plume Executed with a Brush.  The plume is 9 1/2" from top to bottom.  The blue really pops on this one!  Stands 11 1/4" tall.

Excellent Condition.  Six narrow chips inside the rim (1/4 to 1 1/4"), a 1" chip on the rim in the back, and two chips on the underside (3/4", 1").  No seating rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
