Item 4517

Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Salt Glaze Cream Pot.

It is easily attributed to the Fulper Brothers of Flemington, N. J.  George Fulper and his brothers who ran the family pottery under this arrangement from 1881-1898 (see M. Lelyn Branin, The Early Makers of Handcrafted Earthenware and Stoneware in Central and Southern New Jersey, pp. 132-137).  At the time of this listing I have a signed crock by Fulper with this decoration- #4047.

This beauty features a Canted Rim, Inscribed Shoulder, and a Brushed Freehand Flowe with 6 leaves and a Button Blossom.  Measures 7 1/2" tall and 9 1/2" wide across the top.

Excellent Condition.  A 1/4" chip inside the rim.  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Slightly oval in the making.  Exceptionally clean glaze.
