Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this 1 Gallon Milk Bowl made and stamped by "S. S. Perry & Co., West Troy."
This is the stamp of Sanford S. Perry who made stoneware in Troy, New York from 1826 to 1833 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 66).
This beauty features an Milk Bowl Form, Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip. Measures 6 1/2" tall and 9 1/2" wide across the top.
Good Condition. A 1" chip on top of the rim, three small chips around the outside of the irm (1/8" to 1/4"), and a crack from the tulip to the back of the left handle (closeup). No inner rim or base chips, or restoration
