    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Script Jug made for "S. F. Eagan, 141 Seneca St., Buffalo, N.Y." 


    It was made and stamped by "J. Fisher, Lyons, N.Y." This is the work of Jacob Fisher who ran the pottery in Lyons from 1872-1902 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 74).


    This beauty features the Pottery Stamp and Four Lines of Freehand Cobalt Script Advertising.  The cobalt is BOLD and the glaze CLEAN!  You will love it!   Stands 13 1/2" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  A minor 1/8" nibble inside the spout and two on the body, and a couple tiny stains.  That's it!  No outer spout or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
