Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful and rare Yellow Ware Food Mold.
 
Dating to the mid 19th century, this beauty features a Parrot Standing on a Branch in a Rounded Four-Sided Mold.  Crisp details in the decoration make the scene come alive. Larger size measuring 8 3/4" tall, 7 1/4" wide, and 3 7/8" deep.  
 
This piece can be seen in Lisa McAllister and John Michel, Collector's Guide to Yellow Ware, Book I , p. 90.
 
Good Condition.  Some small chips on the design at the bottom, particularly along the parrot's breast, three chips outside the rim (1/8" to 1/2"), and some very small stains.  No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
