Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare 1 Gallon Pepsinade Dispenser that reads, "Drink Delicious Pepsinade, It Aids Digestion."  
 
It was made by the Whites Pottery of Utica, New York between 1890 and 1907 when they made their elaborate molded stoneware.  This piece is a wonderful example of the skill that the Whites Pottery had gained in molded stoneware during those years.
 
This beauty features a Background of a Stone Wall Overlaid in the Front with the Embossed Product Advertising in a Beaded Oval Border within a Fancy Floral Cartouche.  The back sports an elaborate floral bouquet surrounded by individual plants and blossoms.  All the embossed decoration is highlighted with cobalt.  Stands 9" tall.   Comes with what I believe to be the original metal spigot.
 
I have never seen this piece of Whites pottery before nor have several veteran collectors and dealers.  Rare 
 
Good Condition.  A hairline from the rim down to the word "Pepsinade" (closeup) and a drilled hole in the center bottom (possibly once a lamp).  A 2" line from the rim in the back inside that is surface only.  A 3/8" chip on the bottom of the frame around the spigot hole.   No rim or base edge chips, cracks, stains, or restoration.
