Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare Scratch Jug made for "John F. Dwyer, Antrim, Pa."

Antrim is an uncorporated Township in Tioga County in north central Pennsylvania. John Dwyer was the Proprietor of the Antrim Hotel on Main Street. He is listed in the 1899 Directory of Tioga County.

Dating around 1890, this beauty features a Small 1/2 Gallon Size with Scratch Advertising in a Diagonal. Stands 9 1/4" tall.

Excellent Condition. Two chips on the spout (1/4", 3/8"), and an 1/8" nibble on the right side of the handle. No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
