Item 4068

Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Rare Blue and White Basketweave and Morning Glory Hot Water Pitcher.

Made around 1900 to 1920, this beauty was made by the Brush McCoy Company of Zanesville, Ohio as part of a Pitcher and Bowl Wash Set.  See Sharon and Bob Huxford, The Collector's Catalogue of Brush-McCoy Pottery, p. 50.

First example that I have ever seen.

This pitcher features the Basketweave Pattern Overlayed with a Blooming Sprig of Morning Glory on Both Sides, with an embossed faux metal spout.  Exceptionally crisp and strong mold lines.  Stands 7 1/4"

Excellent Condition.  A couple minor pinhead-size nibbles on the body.  That's it!  Does not appear to have ever been used.
