Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this beautiful 2 Gallon Jar made by "R. T. Williams, New Geneva, PA."


Th is is the work of Robert T. Williams who worked in New Geneva from 1882 to 1895 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp. 168-70).


This Beauty sports the Company Name and Address Surrounding a Bird Carrying a Branch.  The bird is very detailed wtih long wings and tail feathers.  In addition, two stripes at the top, and the capacity number framed by stripes and underscored by another stripe completes the decoration.  All the cobalt is strong and rich.  Stands 12" tall


Excellent Condition.   As made.  No damage of any kind.  A 3 1/2" long and 1/4" wide chip on the left side bottom edge in the making (closeup).
