    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Jar with Stripes. 


    This jar is easy to attribute to R. T. Williams of New Geneva, Pennsylvania.   Richard "Dick" Williams potted in New Geneva from approximately 1882 until his death in 1895 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , 167-168).


    This beauty is Finely Potted with Tooled Rim, a Straight Stripe under the Rim, Two Squiggle Stripes on the Top Half, and a Freehand Capacity Number Flanked on Each Side by 5 Dashes and Underscored by a Broad Stripe on the Bottom Half   Stands 12" tall.


    Exceptional Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  What looks like a chip inside the rim is an additional piece of clay from the making.
