This is the work of Robert Diebboll and his son, Bruce. Robert founded the Pines End Pottery in 1966 and made pottery until his passing in 2011. The stoneware was made with classic forms and decorations and carried on the American tradition of salt-glaze pottery with stunning success. Diebboll Pottery is highly sought after for its artistry and quality and prices continue to rise.
This beauty features a Tooled Rim, Side Handles with Cobalt Accents, and the Pottery Stamp with Leaf Garland on one side and a Bird on a Branch Eating Berries on the other. The design is primarily executed with a slip cup. Measures 3 1/2" tall and 6 1/4" wide across the top.
