• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this gorgeous 1 Gallon Stoneware Jug made and signed by "R. and B. Diebboll, Washington, MI."


    This is the work of Robert Diebboll and his son, Bruce. Robert founded the Pines End Pottery in 1966 and made pottery until his passing in 2011. The stoneware was made with classic forms and decorations and carried on the American tradition of salt-glaze pottery with stunning success. Diebboll Pottery is highly sought after for its artistry and quality.


    This beauty features the pottery stamp with cobalt wash, and a Center Tree on Ground Cover with Pine Tree and Fence to the Left and House to the Right.  All the decoration is executed with a slip cup in strong cobalt blue.  The decoration is inspired by the 19th century pottery at Norton, Bennington Vermont which these design elements in its decoration.  Folk art at its best!  Measures 10 3/4" tall.
