    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware Crock made and stamped by "P. Rodenbaugh, Summit Co, O."


    This is the mark of Peter Rodenbaugh who made pottery in Akron, Ohio in the late 19th century (See F. Robert Treichler, A History of Northeast Ohio Stoneware, pp. 82-83).


    Made around 1860, this Churn has the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash Bright Cobalt Blue. Stands 16 1/4" tall. 


    Excellent Condition.  A minor 1/4" flake on the rim in the back and glaze wear around the middle from use.  That's it!  No inner rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Some worn chips on the very top from separtion from the piece above in the making.
