    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Stoneware Crock made and stamped by the "Ottman Bro's & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."


    This is the stamp of William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1872-1892 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , p. 68).


    This beauty sports a clear pottery stamp with cobalt wash, and an Imposing Freehand Cobalt Bird on a Stump in Bright Cobalt.  Meadures 11" tall and 12" wide across the top.


    Very Good Condition.  A 1/4" chip on the rim in the back, and a 2 3/4" chip on the bottom front edge (closeup).  No inner rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
