    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 4 Gallon Crock made and stamped by the "Ottman Bros. & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."


    This is the stamp of William and Gilbert Ottman who ran this pottery together from 1872-1892. (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).


    This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash and a Cobalt Wreath Cradling the 1876 Centennial Date. Great signed, dated, and historical piece!  Measures Stands 11 1/2" tall and 11 3/4" wide across the top.


    Very Good Condition.  A dozen chips inside and outside the rim as shown (1/8"to 1").  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
