• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 5 Gallon Churn made and stamped by the "Ottman Bro's & Co., Fort Edward, N.Y."


    This is the stamp of William and Gilbert Ottman who ran the company from 1872-1892 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware , p. 68).


    This beauty sports a the pottery stamp with cobalt wash and a Fancy Freehand Cobalt Floral Bouquet with Lots of Detail and Bright Cobalt.  It was executed by a masterful hand.  Stands 17" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  A dozen chips on the inner rim where a lid would sit (1/8" to 5/8") and a couple small and faint stains from use.   That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
