Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar made for "Ommert & Hoffield, No. 13 Diammond, Pitts." 


These two gentlemen were grocers in Pittsburgh in the late 19th century.  They had this jar made in SW PA, probably at Greensboro.


This beauty features a Solid and Wavy Stripe at the Top and Bottom that Frame the Company Advertising in Four Lines of Cobalt Lettering.  All the decoration is complete and in dark and pleasing cobalt.  Stands 9 3/4" tall.


Excellent Condition.  A narrow band of water glass staining inside near the top.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  A couple small glaze pops in the back and mottled glaze-- all in the making.
