Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Jar made for "Jaques & Marsh, Druggists, No. 56 Pearl Street, New York." 


Dating around 1850, this beauty features a Semi-Ovoid Form, Coggled Band on the Shoulder, and Four Lines of Impressed Advertising.  Stands 11" tall.


Excellent Condition.  Seven minor chips inside and two outside the rim (1/8" to 3/16"),  an 1/8" nibble on the left handle and a similar one and 3/8" chip on the right handle, and a 3/4" chip at the base.  No hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration. 


A great and unusual piece of New York City History.
