    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Wax Sealer made by the "New Geneva Pottery."


    This is the mark of Alexander Conrad who made stoneware in New Geneva from 1870-1882 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners , pp. 164-165).


    This beauty features the Desired Wax Sealer Form with Tooled Rim and Shoulder, and Canted Sides; and the Company Advertising Surrounded by Four Freehand Stripes of Three Different Varieties.  All the cobalt is dark, bright, and beautiful. Stands 9 1/2" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  Some chips on the inner rim and inside the top rim.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.
