    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Monumental 5 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "N. Clark, Jr., Athens, N.Y."


    This is the stamp of Nathan Clark, Jr. of Athens, N.Y. who ran the family pottery from 1843-1891 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 66).


    This beauty sports a Large 18" Tall Size, the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Bouquet of Flowers! The brushed cobalt floral has multiple leaves and five large blossoms.  Fills the entire front with artistry.   Stands 18" tall. 


    Excellent Condition.  A 1/2" chip on the rim on the left side back by the handle, and some spots of light staining, That's it!  No base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  Some small bubbles in the thicker parts of the cobalt.
