    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Stoneware 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "N. Clark, Jr., Athens, N.Y."


    This is the stamp of Nathan Clark, Jr. of Athens, N.Y. who ran the family pottery from 1843-1891 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, pp. 66).


    This beauty sports a Tall and Narrow Bullet Form, Round Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Gorgeous Double Tulip.  The floral has 16 leaves and two blossom swith 6 petals each.  Rich and shiny cobalt too!  Stands 15 1/4" tall. 


    Excellent Condition.  Some light staining in the back.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.   Very clean and pretty example.
