Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Decorated 1 1/2 Gallon Cream Pot.


It was made and stamped by "Moore, Nichols, & Co., Williamsport, PA."  This pair made stoneware from 1877 to 1879  (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 62-63).


This beauty features an Ovoid Cream Pot Form with Broad Rim, and a Brushed Cobalt Ace of Spades.  Measures 8 3/4" tall and 8 1/2" wide across the top.


Very Good Condition.  Two chips on the rim in the back (1/2", 3/4") with a 1/2" surface line below the smaller one, a 1/2" chip on the underside, and some light stains on the back.  No inner rim chips,  cracks, or restoration.    A horizontal 3" surface line on the back near the bottom in the making.
