    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this Gorgeous 2 Gallon Salt Glaze Butter Crock.  


    Circa the mid 19th century and coming from the Northeast, this beauty features the Tall Crock Form with Incribed Shoulder, Applied Handles, Rich Salt Glaze, and, of Course, "Butter" in Script with Fancy Accents on the Front, and "2" Framed by Fancy Swirls on the Back.   A strikingly beautiful piece!  Measures 9" tall and 10" wide across the top.


    Very Good Condition.  As made except a 1/4" drill hole on the bottom of the left side from being a lamp. That is it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  Two stone pops and slightly out-of-round in the making.  Exceptionally clean.
