• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful and rare Creamware Pitcher in the Form of President McKinley as Napoleon! It was made to satirize McKinley's imperialist pretensions while president.

It is stamped on the bottom, "Pat'd Feb 2nd 1898, The McKinley Jug" Surrounding a Flag and was made by Alfred Evans of Philadelphia.

This little guy is one of a very few documented American Toby Jugs. Stands 8 1/4" tall.

Excellent Condition. Light wear to the gold trim on the top of the hat and sides of the handle, and some very light staining inside and on the bottom.  That's it! No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.

An Alfred Evans, McKinley as Napoleon Pitcher in Excellent Condition.
