Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 2 Gallon Stoneware Preserve Jar stamped "Lyons."


This is the work of Jacob Fisher who ran the pottery in Lyons from 1872-1902 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 74).


This beauty features the Pottery Stamp, Capacity Number, and a Brushed Cobalt Tulip.  Measures 11 1/4" tall.


Very Good Condition.  A 1 1/4" chip inside the rim, a 2" hairline from the rim on the right front (closeup), and three small stains.   No outer rim or base chips or restoration.
