• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful 1 Gallon Advertising Jug made and stamped by "James Ryan, Pittston, Pa."


    Ryan potted in Pittston from 1888 into the 1890's (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 88).


    This jug was made for the merchants, "Kehoe & Lynott, Pittston, PA." 


    This beauty features the Pottery Stamp and the Stenciled Advertising. Stands 10 3/4" tall.   


    Excellent Condition.  As made.  No damage of any kind.  The small chip on the spout, a small stone ping, and a couple small kiln touches are all in the making.
