Coming to you from Doc's Crocks, is this wonderful 7" Wax Sealer Canning Jar made and stamped by "John Bell, Waynesboro."


This is the mark of John Bell who worked in Waynesboro from 1833-1880 (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 47-50).


This beauty features the Pottery Stamp and Wax Sealer Form.  Stands 7" tall.


Excellent Condition.  A 1/4" chip inside the rim and light overall staining from use.  That's it!  No outer rim or base chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.
