• Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this uncommon 2 Gallon Jug made and stamped by "J. McKenzie, Beaver, PA." 


    This is the stamp of Johathan McKenzie who worked in Beaver, Pennsylvania from around 1845 through the 1860's (Phil Shaltenbrand, Big Ware Turners, pp. 133-34).  Pieces with this mark are uncommon.


    This beauty features a Semi-Ovoid Form, Clear Pottery Stamp and Three Freehand Cobalt Fuchsia.  Further accent at the bottom handle terminal.  Stands 13 3/4" tall.


    Excellent Condition.  Some scattered small stains.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, or restoration.  A kiln furniture impression on the right side in the making.
