Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this rare 6 1/2" Jug made for "J. Ettinger, Wholesale Liquors, 344 Ontario Street, Cleveland, O."

Ettinger was a saloon and liquor store owner in Cleveland in the late 19th century.  The jug comes with a three page article from the Ohio Bottle Club about Ettinger and the rarity of this jug.

This beauty features a Small 6 1/2" Size, Two-Toned Glaze, and Four Lines of Cobalt Advertising.  A very bold presentation indeed.

Excellent Condition.  A couple small glaze wear spots on the handle. That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or restoration.  What looks like a vertical hairline to the right of the stencil is a slightly raised line in the clay in the making.
