    Coming to you from Doc's Crocks is this wonderful Cast Iron Still Bank "Bank."


    It was made by J. & E. Stevens of Cromwell, Connecticut in 1887 and was one of their first still banks.  It is bank 1122 in Andy and Susan Moore, The Penny Bank Book, p. 115. 


    This beauty is in the form of an Elaborate Victorian Stone Bank with Slate Roof and Coined Corners.  Retains is original paint!  Turn the knob on the bottom and it comes apart in 6 pieces for removal of the coins.  Measures 3 1/2" wide, 2 1/2" deep, and 5" tall. 


    Excellent Condition.  Original surface with wear.
