This is the work of Joseph Clementson who made pottery in Hanley, England in the first half of the 19th century.
This beauty is in the Prairie Pattern with Embossed Grain and Flowers. Wonderful lines and subtle decoration. Stands 7" to the top of the finial.
Very Good Condition. The base has a pinhead-size nibble on the rim and some staining on the underside. No hairlines, cracks, or restoration. The lid is as made.
