    Ready to add to your growing collection is this wonderful 2 Gallon Crock made and stamped by J. A. and C. W. Underwood, Fort Edward, N.Y. This partnership lasted from 1865-1867 (William Ketchum, Jr., American Stoneware, p. 68).


    This beauty sports the Pottery Stamp with Cobalt Wash, and a Handsome Bird on a Branch Decoration.  Measures 9" tall and 9 3/4" wide across the top. 


    Excellent Condition.  A thin water glass ring inside near the top.  That's it!  No chips, hairlines, cracks, outer stains, or restoration.  A stone ping and small clay void in the making.
